Sorry for not posting here much (if anyone actually reads this!) I have to be careful what I put in this blog compared to my private one as you never know who may come across it, and whilst I love (almost) everyone in my life, I do like to have a bitch about things and it wouldn't be good for them to find it! So I sort of forget about this one.
Anyhoo, what has been going on with me lately?
Well, I did Oklahoma! at the Solihull Arts Complex with the Peterbrook Players March 24th-27th. I had to miss opening night due to a lovely tummy bug my mom brought home from the hospital where she works.
But the five shows I did do (there was a matinée on the Saturday as well as an evening performance) were amazing. I really cannot imagine doing anything other than being on stage in the future. I was made to be on it! I think I could easily do eight shows a week. Somebody; please hire me! I am excellent at ad-libbing! ;)
But that's it until September now! *Sob* Our next show is Oliver! and I have my eyes set on a main part. Thankfully, due to my year and a half of having a Norf Laaandaner for a best friend (during my time at the University of Kent), I have a rather respectable Cockney accent that should stand me in good stead!
I only did 2 and a half hours of lunch cover at work today so when my mom picked me up we went to La Tasca for lunch. They do the best sangria. They also have a lovely atmosphere, appropriate music and good food. It is a bit pricy but well worth it.
On Friday we may go to the Sea Life Centre (if it's open - bloody religion! Although I like the days off so I take it back!) since we have 2 for 1 tickets and I haven't been there since I was in year 7, and I don't think you appreciate things like that so much at the age of 12. Ten years on and I hope I have matured!
On (Easter) Sunday, I believe we are having a bit of a get together with next door. It will involve food and lots of alcohol, and hopefully a dairy free Easter cake that I am going to persuade my mom to make!
Yesterday I bought an iPhone! Bit of an impulse decision, but I have wanted one for aaaages. Now I have it I don't know how I coped without it! I have been having great fun with childish apps like a virtual dog, and I downloaded a few card and word games too, and the compulsory Facebook and Twitterrific apps.
I bought it through Orange on pay as you go (I LOATHE contracts). It's a white 16GB 3GS so it cost me £450 (including £10 top up), but I had £15 in a phone fund so it cost me £435 in total! Scary price but it is fucking amazing, and I get free internet with Orange on it for a year now which is ace.
Well I think that is about it, ciao for now!!
